There's a new man in Detroit's crease!

Not only has Detroit Red Wings general manager Steve Yzerman transformed the look of the team's coaching staff with several new hires, but they'll also have a new tandem between the pipes next season after the acquisition of goaltender Ville Husso from the St. Louis Blues. He'll be teaming up with Alex Nedeljkovic, whom Yzerman acquired in a lopsided deal last offseason.

For Husso, he arrives in the Motor City after having been the starter for the Blues for much of last season, and he's already endeared himself to Red Wings fans by revealing his beautiful new Mike Vernon-inspired mask artwork late last month.

And now, Red Wings fans have a better idea of his full gear setup that he'll be wearing when the team gathers for training camp later this week in Traverse City. Take a look at his 2022-23 pad design, courtesy of TRUE Hockey.
