Red Wings missing two top forwards from practice

Ideal, this isn't at all.

Red Wings Feed

The good news is that the Detroit Red Wings are 2-0 to start the 2022-23 NHL season after their Opening Night victory at Little Caesars Arena over the Montreal Canadiens followed by a road victory the next night over the New Jersey Devils.

The bad news is that Saturday night's win at Prudential Center may have come at a serious cost. Forward Tyler Bertuzzi left the game early in the 2nd period after blocking a shot with his hand, and didn't return to the game. And in another negative sign, he wasn't at practice this morning at Little Caesars Arena as his team prepares to face the Los Angeles Kings later tonight.

What's worse is that forward Jakub Vrana also was missing from practice.
